The development team behind Destiny 2 recently revealed what they used to create the impactful sound effects for the recently added Parasite gun: mac and cheese. This unique and powerful weapon was added as part of the Witch Queen expansion, which brought with it a host of new areas, enemies, and missions, along with other adjustments like the nerfing of the Destiny 2 Nightstalker subclass.
As is the case with most games in the loot-shooter subgenre, Destiny 2 offers an almost incomprehensible amount of gear and weapons for players to unlock and leverage against their foes. These pieces of loot can often supply a major edge on the battlefield, with Destiny 2's weapons providing unique buffs and dealing out punishing elemental damage to enemy NPCs. Aside from their functions and stats, all gear in the game can be divided into categories based upon their rarity, with Common gear being the least rare and Exotic gear being the most. As it transitioned into more of a live-service title, Destiny 2's roster of weapons continued to grow. As the game's latest expansion, The Witch Queen even added weapon crafting alongside dozens of new powerful guns and melee armaments.
