Characters use jet-pack type «Boost packs» to easily leap large areas, and robots such as Constellation's VASCO are available to assist their allies on their ventures.

Boost packs and advanced space suits or weapon technology are great, but it seems surprising, considering how much technology is on display, that players can't augment their characters with it more directly. The Neuroamp questline, however, is the closest players can get to this, as it rewards them with a brain implant that gives their character access to the «Manipulation» skill.

The Neuroamp is a cutting-edge piece of technology that can be dangerous if used immorally due to how it can alter characters' mental state to do its owners' bidding. Players first discover it when working with the megacorp Ryujin Industries in the cyberpunk-esque city of Neon.
