The developers behind the upcoming Stellar Blade revealed the real-life South Korean model they worked with in order to create the game's action heroine, Eve. Stellar Blade has been a hot topic of discussion ever since its re-reveal in 2023, with many anticipating its April 26 release. The design of Stellar Blade's protagonist has dominated conversations, especially after the game's latest State of Play trailer.
A lot of the trailers and screenshots prominently focus on Eve, the game's main protagonist. While Jae-eun's body was used as a reference for the Stellar Blade protagonist, Kim says that Eve's face was created in-house. «Yes, we did base the character of Eve on the model Shin Jae-eun,» said Kim. «We thought that her body shape would be a good reference for the character that we were pursuing. But the face was created originally in-house — it’s just the body of the model that we scanned for the game.»
