When we interviewed Korean developer Shift Up recently, it emphasised the point that Stellar Blade’s selection of 30 costumes would all be included in-game at launch, with no microtransactions or additional purchases necessary. However, speaking with Game Informer, director Hyung-Tae Kim has hinted more outfits could be added post-release.
He didn’t elaborate on the developer’s plans, so it’s unclear whether these will be free or premium, but we’re generally okay with cosmetics after launch – it’s not like we can complain there are a lack of costumes in the base game, after all. He also didn’t provide a timeline for when the prospective content could be added, but we imagine it’s focused on finishing up the core title first.

Day one buy for me
If these outfits added post-launch are paid ones, they will be the most lucrative in any game so far. Many people will buy this game mainly for that!
I will be putting glasses on her and the outfit that covers her up the most. Not really into the soft core nonsense, but you do you.
Dress up or dress down? Either way im sold on this game unless something drastically bad happens with the reviews.
I mean 30? That's way more than I expected especially with not having to pay for it. Ngl though, I'm kind of hoping there is a shorter ponytail option. Just seeing her hair be that long is a bit too goofy for me.
GIMME GIMME GIMME!!!
