CD Projekt RED has today unleashed patch 4.04 for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt across both PS5 and PS4 consoles. This update is designed to fix a number of minor issues relating to side quests, and on PS5 more specifically, improves the graphical mode that utilises ray tracing. The RPG should be more stable after loading a save with the ray tracing mode enables, and the load screens shouldn't stutter either.
Elsewhere, side quests like A Towerful of Mice, Cabaret, The Last Wish and Wandering in the Dark, and Get Junior have all been updated to either run better or had bugs removed from them. Update 4.04 also adds an HDR calibration option and ensures collision with grass works properly. You can check out the full list of patch notes below.
