After the somewhat troubled launch of the next-gen 4.0.0 patch for The Witcher 3, CD Projekt Red has improved things and brought a lot of quality of life updates to the Nintendo Switch version.

No doubt CD Projekt Red had to work on optimising the content further, as the 4.0.0 patch was made with next-gen systems in mind — and a lot of the new additions may have proved a bridge too far for the aging mobile system.
Perhaps we’ll get to see some of the visual changes when the upcoming Switch Pro is released.

The Netflix-inspired content that was available for more capable platforms has made its way to the Nintendo Switch so that we can live our best Geralt life on the go.
This was introduced in the 4.0.0 next-gen patch, but on Switch, we’ll now be able to unlock the Scavenger Hunt: Forgotten Wolf School Gear quest after finishing the Netflix-inspired The Eternal Fire’s Shadow quest.
The latter is a reasonably tricky one, so make you’re not too low of a level before jumping in: In the quest, you are tasked by an Eternal Fire Priest to go down into a plague-infested mine.
Once you’ve completed it all, you’ll get access to crafting diagrams to unlock the Forgotten Wolven Armour, Forgotten Wolven Gauntlets, Forgotten Wolven Trousers, Forgotten Wolven Boots, Forgotten Wolven Steel Sword and the Forgotten Wolven Silver Sword.
