The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners - Chapter 2: Retribution is set to arrive on Oculus Quest 2 later this year. The two trailers already released by Skydance Interactive showcased the impressive new graphics that will come with Chapter 2 thanks to the new hardware upgrades, but the latest screenshot is showing us what could be a brand-new mechanic.
As shared by Twitch streamer and VR enthusiast Gamertag VR, the screenshot shows The Tourist chainsawing their way through a zombie. Note the left arm, which is already mostly detached, as well as the remains of several zombies behind the one that's currently being chainsawed in half. That zombie seems to be just the latest to become bifurcated as several zombies appear to be various orientations of a half-torso.

The takeaway? A new dismemberment system with the chainsaw as the primary implement. Or in Gamertag VR’s words, "Art has many forms," and the chainsaw is your paintbrush.
Oculus Quest 2 will be the first platform that The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners - Chapter 2: Retribution arrives on, which has a limited resolution of 1920x1080. However, Sony recently confirmed the game will be coming to the PSVR 2 as well, which will render at 4K in each lens. Expect this screenshot to be even more gruesome with more pixels.
Announced in April as the sequel to The Walking Dead: Saints And Sinners on the Oculus Rift and PSVR, Chapter 2: Retribution takes place after the first game but is still a standalone story, according to Skydance.
