The Djinn is a great Salutor to have early on in with its unique curse skillset. Taming Djinn involves completing the "" side quest, where Wiktor tracks down a market thief and uncovers the reasons behind their pickpocketing spree. Intriguingly, players can also elect to tame Djinn for a secret achievement, but this is best left for later playthroughs.
"" is unlocked in Act 1 after getting access to the Mirów district. More specifically, this quest located in the Gościnny Dwór bazaar in the northmost part of Mirów. Have some health-restoring abilities on hand, as Djinn's curses will slowly deplete Wiktor's health after timed delays.
This side quest can expire, so it is best to avoid going too far in the main story and complete " " as soon as possible to prevent losing out on Salutor Djinn.
Wiktor will detect the wish-granting Djinn's presence when first entering the Gościnny Dwór bazaar, but he will need to collect Observations to narrow down who has the Flaw. Use Perception repeatedly while walking around the bazaar to collect the following:
From these, Wiktor will make the «Bloom» Conclusion, which deduces that the bazaar thief is selling flowers as an alibi. Talk to the flower lady in blue by the bazaar's entrance and buy a familiar-looking African daisy. Continue to prod at the flower seller for her thievery until her Flaw glows briefly, and she calls over the market's bodyguards.
Be wary about using Pride dialogue options during this quest, as having too much Pride will lock players into only one of two possible endings for " " .
While talking to the bodyguards, Wiktor can deduce the «Last Straw» Conclusion, where the guards are fed up with their lack of payment. If Wiktor's Heart stat is at least 5, he can convince the guards to divert their anger away from him and towards their boss instead. Otherwise, he will need to defeat the bodyguards in battle, and despite having a decently high amount of health, they should not prove too difficult.
