Warner and developer NetherRealm have been teasing plans to reveal the next entry in the long-running series imminently, with two recently released videos hinting at a series reboot.
But ahead of an official announcement, various details have seemingly leaked. Reliable dataminer billbil-kun claimed last week that Mortal Kombat 1 will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Nintendo Switch.
The standard version will reportedly cost $69.99 on PlayStation and Xbox consoles and $59.99 on Switch. A Premium edition will be priced at $109.99 and a Kollector’s version at $249.99.
It’s also been claimed that Warner is targeting a September release window for the game.
Mortal Kombat 1 will reportedly feature a character pass that adds Peacemaker from the DC Universe as a guest fighter.
According to Windows Central, another possible DLC character is Homelander from comic book series The Boys.
