Following its small-screen debut in 2018, HBO’s has gone on to etch its name in history as one of the most enticing drama shows ever. While many consider its fourth and final season to be the epitome of TV entertainment, many have yet to see the, including some cast members. Despite being one of the leading stars in Succession, Kieran Culkin, who portrays the erratic Roman Roy, hasn’t seen his own show’s finale. According to him, this strange development occurred due to scheduling conflicts, causing him to miss the moment.
The Home Alone actor conveyed this surprising revelation during his recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. While reacting to fans’ buoyant response to the final episode of Succession, Culkin explained that he was filming A Real Pain alongside Jesse Eisenberg during the premiere of the show’s final few chapters.
“I was in Poland shooting this movie when the last three episodes were airing, and I couldn’t log into my Max account. So my wife actually went on Instagram and said hey, if there’s anyone who can give your sign-in so Kieran can watch the last couple episodes,” the actor recalled. After receiving several login credentials, he disclosed that he was able to view the eighth and ninth episodes of Succession Season 4.
Culkin then added, “Before the last one I moved to a different hotel that didn’t have a smart TV, so I just couldn’t watch it then. Then I went home, did a vacation, blah blah blah. You know when it’s like a couple months old? I kinda missed the moment.”
