There were a few rules that participants had to abide by, with the most important one being that they were not allowed to touch their smartphones.
They were also not allowed to sleep deeply, as that would have defeated the challenge’s purpose. In the end, an unnamed woman in her pajamas overcame the test and won 10,000 yuan, which converts to $1,380. That is a decent chunk of change if all that is required from you is not to use your smartphone for several hours.
