These all help turn items you don't need into more utilitarian ones, but don't cover every possible type of useless loot.
What happens when you find an item that you can equip with your current character, but it's much worse than everything you already have? Well, you can sell, dismantle, or disenchant it as per usual, but that feels wasteful. In that case, there's an alternative option: the Reforging Bench. This unique crafting option allows you to exchange multiple types of the same item for a chance at rerolling its stats, and more often than not, the results are better than the sum of their parts. The Reforging Bench doesn't become available until Act 3 of , so if you've just started the game, you've got a long wait ahead before you can start rerolling your equipment. Either way, at some point during Act 3, you'll take on a quest called "," during which you'll arrive at a new area called The Drowned City.
