Those who have the Early Access for on PC may be experiencing multiple crashes trying to start up the game. Fatal errors related to Unreal Engine may pop up as players try to load the game past the first few screens after pressing Play. Thankfully, developer Heart Machine has provided a possible fix, but it does take away some features in exchange for the game's functionality.
This problem with 's Early Access will likely be fixed officially in an update Heart Machine will put out in the near future. However, for the time being, you won't be able to play the game at all while the start-up crash issue persists. This bug has something to do with the cloud save feature of the game, with it only affecting some PCs that have downloaded it.
The start-up crash bug occurs when you start and receive a message that says This pop-up message will immediately give you the option to log out of the game, but it won't let you force your way into the main menu. The white text box will reappear every time you try to launch the game, even if you uninstall and reinstall the files from scratch.

The assumed root for this bug comes from the cloud saving features of 's online co-op functions. While the bug is not directly associated with playing co-op, many have reported that the automatic save files for the rogue-like runs done online interfere with the start-up in some way.
As of right now, manipulating the save files only works for some players trying to play on PC. Whenever you install the game, you can delete the folder in the game's files to maybe cause it to work on start-up, but this solution is not a widespread one for every PC system.
