has surprised everyone by releasing several festive holiday skins for popular Pals. The base-building, creature-capturing survival title only launched in January of this year, and it's already launched several expansions, including one earlier this week. The game has over 150 different Pals, creatures that can be fought and tamed, and some of them now have Christmas variants.
The Christmas skins were added as part of the expansion and can be accessed right now from within the game on all the consoles where the game is available (PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5). The outfits and recolors can be seen in a short trailer on the Pocketpair YouTube channel, which shows Pals and their trainers all dressed up and surrounded by festive decorations like Christmas trees and wrapped presents.
This holiday season, has gifted players with six new Christmas and holiday-themed skins for several popular Pals. This is the first Christmas that has been out, since the game was released on January 19, 2024, so developers Pocketpair are celebrating in style. Players don't need to do anything special to unlock the skins, which are available to everyone, no matter how long they've been playing. To equip the holiday outfits, players will need tocapture the Pal for the corresponding outfit and build the Pal Dressing Facility at a base. Once both these requirements are met, players will be able to dress their Depressos, Chillets, and the four other Pals in their respective Christmas outfits.
