Still Feline Roguelikes? Megacatrogue Is Here!

Hopefully, you’re not tired of new and upcoming roguelikes yet! Megacatrogue has just launched and is a pounce ahead of genre similars we have seen so far. If the game title didn’t give it away, you get to play as a cat, and in 3D!

Following the typical blueprint for dungeon crawlers you get to traverse battle rooms teeming with bosses and loot. But why is a cat doing all of this instead of punting glasses off tables and napping all day?

Well, the world is plagued and it seems there are no reliable humans around to do the dirty work. As the purrfect protagonist of this tail (heh), you must find the Dungeon Heart and uncover the source of the magic which is causing a CATastrophe!

The fate of the world is in your paws now. Well, yours and your randomly generated party of monsters that are more cat people than dog people. Uncover artefacts and strange weapons to guide you on your adventure through the dingy dungeons. Who knew cats could wield swords? I’m sure they would if they could.

Not only are you a threat with a sword, but as this fierce kitty, you also get to deal elemental ability damage. I bet you’re feline pretty good about the game now huh? The enemies you face will have elemental strengths and weaknesses for you to strategise and work around. But, if all else fails just whack them with your vampiric weapon.
