Star Wars: The Old Republic Game Update 7.6 will soon hit the game’s public test servers and Broadsword has dropped a new video to preview what players can expect to find.
SWTOR game director Eric Musco outlined two new feature additions coming in 7.6. The first is a new lair boss fight against a gigantic self replicating droid on Ilum called Propagator Core XR-53. Lair boss fights are designed for eight players and this particular fight will be available in both Story and Veteran modes when 7.6 launches.
Next up is a new system called dynamic events that will create, well, dynamic timed events on planets for players to tackle. Some of the examples shown included an Imperial attack on Tatooine on the more dramatic side of things, but also a cantina band that has been robbed by womp rats, to showcase that these events can range from serious to silly.
Players who take part in public playtesting for update 7.6 will be able to earn new incentives, including the B1-SAL mini pet. More details on what players will need to do to earn their PTS incentives and what will be available for testing should be published to the official SWTOR website soon.
