Massive Entertainment has done an excellent job updating in accordance with player feedback, but the game's latest patch is giving users some major issues. While Ubisoft may have been disappointed by lower-than-expected sales, the game has certainly found an audience as fans of the galaxy far, far away have embraced Kay Vess and Nix. It may not have reinvented the wheel when it comes to open-world action-adventure games, but it's a solid experience that may need another hotfix in the near future.
Posting to X (formerly Twitter), confirmed that Patch 1.3.0 is now live, noting thatit further tweaks the stealth mechanic on certain missions, improves speeder AI, and provides additional auto-save opportunities in hostile open-world areas.
All of these changes are undoubtedly great but many PlayStation 5 players have noted that the update has resulted in some major screen-tearing issues. User Riannon892 demonstrated the problem in action by sharing a clip of their game, and the visual glitch is difficult to ignore; They were one of several players to complain.
While PlayStation 5 players may be annoyed by the state of following the 1.3.0 Patch, the update is a good sign for users on PC. Since the game is slated to debut on Steam on November 21, it's great to see Massive Entertainment further refining the experience. Beyond the aforementioned changes, some other improvements include the Wanted system scaling based on players' progression, and NPCs having smarter combat AI; The full patch notes can be read below:
