Pokémon GO: How To Prepare For The Wild Area Global Event
A brand new major event is here with Wild Area: Global set to take place from Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM local time until Sunday, November 24, 2024, at 6:15 PM local time. Built as a follow-up to the hugely popular Fest, which takes place every year, Wild Area offers a huge amount of content for trainers over the weekend. From bonuses, debuts, increased spawns, and even new mechanics in, Wild Area has something for everyone, making it a must-play.
The event coincides with another event in Fukuoka, but Wild Area is available to all players regardless of location. The event is ticketed, and to take full advantage of all of the bonuses from Wild Area, you will need to buy one. However, everyone can play the majority of activities for free. During this event in , one of the biggest introductions will see the new GO Safari Balls make their first appearance in. This is an addition to field research, special research, and collection challenges, which will all occur across the weekend. However, you must have everything in place to take advantage of what is on offer ahead of Wild Area.
With any significant event, trainers are keen to get their hands on new Pokémon, making their debut as soon as possible. This time, it is Dynamax Toxtricity, which can be obtained in Max Raids. Its base form, Toxel, was released this week in the Into The Wild event but required 400 candies to evolve it. However, by completing the latest Max Raid, trainers can get their hands on Toxtricity easily and add it to their collections. It is a four-star Max Raid, meaning multiple trainers will be needed to defeat it.
