We're all pretty pumped for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor here at Push Square. The first game, Fallen Order, has its flaws, but is by and large a very fun action game with well-realised lightsaber combat. The sequel will obviously build upon the solid foundation put down with the original, and that means expanding the combat system to give players many more options.

It's also the only stance that allows you to cancel out of your own attack animations in order to block or dodge.
The other two new stances are called cross guard and blaster. Cross guard stance basically turns Cal's lightsaber into a heavy greatsword-type weapon, featuring a hilt and delivering the strongest attacks at the cost of speed. Finally, the blaster stance sees the character wield a single-bladed saber alongside a firearm, giving you more ranged options while keeping things rooted in melee combat.
It all sounds good to us — we can't wait to try all these new techniques out ourselves. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is launching on PS5 on 28th April 2023. What do you think of these enhancements to
