Nostalgia is in the air in Fortnite, as a studio has recreated the original battle royale map and made it available to players. Fortnite was released back in 2017, and as with most online multiplayer games, it has seen many changes. Some of the most significant have altered Fortnite's map, which today is very different from how veteran players once knew it.
With Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 released, players saw the game's map change one more time. The game has said goodbye to Faulty Splits, which has been replaced by the new POI Mega City. This is not the only new area: the new biome also features Steamy Springs, Knotty Net, and Kenjutsu Crossing. All four areas have buildings inspired by Japanese architecture and are in line with the cyberpunk theme that is the focus of the current season. But for Fortnite players who miss the early days, a solution has just emerged.

The Atlas Creative studio has released a recreation of the original Fortnite map using Creative 2.0. Fortnite's latest update introduced a new creative tool that is very powerful and makes it possible to develop custom game modes using Unreal Engine 5. The Atlas Creative map features iconic locations such as Tilted Towers and Loot Lake, all POIs, and the original map's loot pool. To play the Atlas Creative map, the player needs to do the same step-by-step to play a regular Fortnite Creative map and enter the code 2179-7822-3395.
