Even though season 1 of Daredevil: Born Again hasn't finished filming, Vincent D'Onofrio seems to have good news about the second season.
Daredevil: Born Again will be a reboot of the popular Daredevil series that aired on Netflix. With Charlie Cox reprising his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Vincent D'Onofrio returning as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, fans have been excited to see more of their beloved characters. Although details about the first season have been kept carefully under wraps, it has been revealed that season 1 will have eighteen episodes and feature flashbacks for at least two characters. Now, another detail has come to light.

In an interview with Newsweek, D'Onofrio discussed what fans can expect from Daredevil: Born Again, noting that fans of the original series shouldn't expect the new show to be just like the old one. «I think it's something that people are not going to expect. But, always with these Marvel old comic stories that are being revisited and reinvented by us actors, and the writers, the main thing is to answer the fans. To give them what they want but try to be original in some way at the same time, and so that's what we're doing on the show,» D'Onofrio said. «It's definitely an original way to look at this, and it's really deep, really emotional.» D'Onofrio then hinted at plans for a second season of Daredevil: Born Again, saying, «And, by the second season, there are gigantic, gigantic payoffs—in the first season, too, but I can't say much about that—but the fans are gonna really get what they want. It's really quite cool to be doing it.»
