Dev's Translocate is most obviously helpful for getting around Redfall, but it can be especially useful for getting behind a big enemy. You can drop the beacon, run away, then end up far behind it when plenty of time to attack. It's also useful for rescuing fallen teammates in dangerous situations. Lure the enemies away then Translocate right back to fallen allies.
