A lucky few people were given the chance to preview Marvel's Spider-Man 2 recently and even take the game for a swing. Insomniac Games has been celebrating that with a little more than a month until the sequel is finally here. Reason to celebrate for everyone who plans on playing the game as it likely means we're about to learn a lot more about what to expect from it. In fact, Insomniac's James Stevenson has already got the ball rolling.
Stevenson, Insomniac's community and marketing director, shared a selfie to celebrate an amazing week of Spider-Man 2 preview events. They then signed off by confirming the trim on Spidey's suit is black. That might not sound like a big deal to some of you, but to those who have been paying very close attention to all of the suits we've been shown so far, it brings the curtain down on months of debate.

Just to make sure the debate was settled once and for all, Stevenson made sure to include a statue of Peter Parker in his iconic advanced suit in his selfie, the trim on it very clearly black. The debate began when a trailer showed the same suit with a white trim, a tweak most people didn't seem to like. When asked by a fan if the black trim is final in the replies to the tweet below, Stevenson replies with a definitive "yes".
That's the end of that then, right? Well, maybe not. In another reply to the very same tweet, someone else has shared a very recent Spider-Man 2 poster in which the trim on the same suit is white. The reply again asks if Stevenson is confirming the trim is definitively black despite the fairly recent poster, but also asks whether the suit with a white trim is a different style that
