Spider-Man Unlimited Shows How Insomniac Spidey Is Handling Aunt May's Death
The first issue of the Spider-Man Unlimited Infinity comic has given us a look at how Insomniac Games' Peter Parker is handling Aunt May's death and, uh, it looks like he's not doing so well.
A lot happened to Insomniac Games' version of Peter Parker in 2018's Spider-Man game. Some of it good, like repairing his relationship with MJ and forming a bond with Miles Morales, but most of it bad, like being betrayed by Otto Octavius and having the snot kicked out of him by the Sinister Six. The worst of it, though, was undoubtedly when he had to choose between saving the city from a disease or curing Aunt May, who was on the brink of death and would have needed the whole vial to survive.

As we all remember, Peter made the heartbreaking choice to let May die for the good of the city, something that we've not really seen him deal with all that much. Spider-Man: Miles Morales gave us a little glimpse into his psyche and how he was dealing with things (seemingly having gotten over it), but the first issue of Spider-Man Unlimited Infinity (a new comic series that's exclusive to Marvel Unlimited) shows us that he's far from over it.

In the issue, 616 Spider-Man and Insomniac Games Spider-Man run into each other for the first time since Spider-Geddon and end up getting in a fight pretty much instantly. Although Insomniac Games Spider-Man has the upper hand for most of the battle, things take a turn when 616 Spider-Man mentions Uncle Ben and Aunt May to Insomniac's Peter.
