PlayStation is going all out for the launch of Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Understandable for a couple of reasons. Not only because it's the first big game coming out of one of its own studios for a while, but also because it has the somewhat daunting task of trying to share the spotlight with Super Mario Bros. Wonder which launches on the same day. We'll be getting a dry run of that today as Nintendo will host a Direct and PlayStation has a State of Play a few hours later.
Both Nintendo and PlayStation have also released special edition consoles for their October 20 games, but PlayStation has pushed the boat out quite a bit further on that front. Not only can you buy a limited edition Spider-Man 2 PS5, but if you already own the console and don't feel like spending $500 to replace it, you can just buy the Spidey covers and DualSense. Speaking of which, the latter is back in stock at Amazon after previously selling out, but you'll need to be quick.

Very quick, actually, as the first wave of controllers sold out almost immediately. The same has happened with Amazon's restocks of the Spider-Man covers, although it was evident with those that Amazon wisely chose to add its stock in batches.
