Insomniac Games has revealed a Spider-Man 2-themed PS5 console that's coming in September, with pre-orders for it starting next week on July 28.
Spider-Man 2 is currently being shown off as part of a panel at San Diego Comic-Con, where several key actors involved in the game and some developers at Insomniac Games are revealing new details about what to expect from the sequel. This included a brand-new story trailer and the confirmation of some specific details about the game, such as how long it's been since Miles Morales and the fact that Mr Negative is making a return.

Outside of the new trailer and story details, Insomniac Games also took the time to show off some merchandise related to the game, including showing the collector's edition off in-person for the first time. The console was first shown off by Insomniac Games' Bryan Intihar before the PlayStation Blog gave us a full look at what's included. The bundle, which is called the "Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition Bundle" features a custom PS5 console case which showcases the symbiote closing in on a big white spider emblem. The bundle also features a matching DualSense with the same design and a voucher for a digital copy of the game. A bit of a shame that there's no disk, but that's standard practice for console bundles nowadays.
Thankfully, if you're not wanting to just buy a whole new PS5 for the unique design, Insomniac Games has confirmed that the cover featured on the bundled PS5 will be released
