The PS4 and Nintendo Switch port of Red Dead Redemption has arrived. That was quick, wasn't it? Probably because the team behind it didn't want people getting too hung up on the fact it isn't a remake or a remaster. That the port costs $40 got some of you pretty wound up, and now another Red Dead Redemption price point has done that all over again. That's because if you want to buy the bundle which includes the port and its sequel, it's going to set you back $100.
Now that the port on PlayStation, the bundle made up of both games is now available on PS4 and Xbox since the first game was already available on the latter thanks to backward compatibility. Idle Sloth appears to have been among the first to point out there's a bundle available, allowing Red Dead fans to react accordingly to how much it costs.

"Red Dead Redemption & Red Dead Redemption 2 Bundle is ONLY $100 on the Microsft Store," Idle Sloth posted on X, ensuring the sarcasm came across loud and clear. That prompted some strong reactions from a lot of you, most of which suggested $60 would have been a more reasonable price for both games. However, since the port of the first game is $40, that would have technically meant Red Dead Redemption 2 was included for just $20.
Since Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently $60 on both the Microsoft and PlayStation Stores, the bundle of both games together offers up a grand total of zero savings which is a little odd.
