Skye Tales aims to offer up a relaxing, puzzle-filled time for players and still immerse them in the world. Skye’s environment goes from valleys to stunning seas, with a variety of relaxing puzzles to solve along the way. The team at Puny Astronaut has aimed to create a very user-friendly experience with accessibility at the forefront of the game’s design.
The game will have easy, customizable controls and colorblind-friendly gameplay alongside visual filters to help those with information-processing issues. It’s fascinating to see so much work go into making the game playable for so many because puzzle games usually get the short end of the stick there, while AAA-level games have upped the ante, while puzzle games haven’t really seen that same level of accommodation made for players. Skye Tales will hit the eShop on May 26.
