Rumors of their arrival circulated just two months ago, and now it’s official—World of Warcraft Classic will introduce Hardcore mode servers. This exciting development aims to provide official support and structure for a unique, unforgiving gameplay style.
In recent months, there has been a significant surge in player activity within the WoW Classic Era realms. This notable increase can be attributed to a community-driven “hardcore” challenge, where the stakes are incredibly high—any character that experiences even a single death in Blizzard’s old-school MMORPG is permanently deleted. The challenge has gained even more traction lately due to the participation of renowned WoW streamers and content creators, who have joined in on the excitement and embraced the hardcore gameplay.
During the Hardcore All-Stars stream, Senior Game Producer Josh Greenfield made the exciting announcement. We don’t know an exact date that the servers will be released but it was stated that they will be coming this summer.
Additionally, Josh announcement that what will be “Season of Mastery 2”, but with a different name will be announcement later this year. Could it be Classic Plus? Time will tell.
Hardcore Classic WoW is a unique, fan made gameplay mode introduced in World of Warcraft Classic.
