New F1 23 Deep Dive Focuses on Game Modes - Hardcore Gamer
Today, EA and Codemasters have released their second deep dive video for F1 23. The game is set to release on June 16 as the latest deep dive focuses on game modes that will be featured for the official Formula One game. Braking Point was a narrative mode that released in F1 2021, and the sequel Braking Point 2 will focus on new chapters for the careers of Aiden Jackson and Devon Butler. Both are now teammates for the Konnersport Racing Team as this organization hopes to make its mark in the modern day Formula One. Along with new rivalries and challenges, new characters will be featured in the story including sister to Devon Butler, Callie Mayer, who had won the F2 championship and looks to succeed at the highest level. The writing team partnered with W Series World Champion and Williams Racing Development Driver Jamie Chadwick to help write the character.
F1 World will feature solo and multiplayer experiences along with a shared progression system, daily, weekly and seasonal content. The License System for F1 23 has also been overhauled. As players progress through F1 World, they will increase their Tech Level and earn upgrades that can be equipped to their F1 World car.
