Ubisoft has announced a revival of the Prince of Persia franchise with Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. The remake has been hit by a series of delays since its announcement in September 2020, and in May 2023 Ubisoft confirmed that the game would not appear at June's Summer Game Fest as the game was «still in an early stage.»
