We’re just about done with Summer Game Fest 2023, and it’s fair to say that it’s been an eventful period. From the Xbox Games Showcase to Ubisoft Forward to Summer Game Fest itself, there’s been no shortage of events that have delivered a number of promising reveals and announcements. Sure, the absence of E3 is still starkly felt, but if you feel Summer Game Fest is shaping up to be a serviceable replacement, there’s good news for you.
It’s been confirmed that Summer Game Fest will be back in 2024, making it the event’s fifth outing. It has, as always, been confirmed for June, while Summer Game Fest Play Days – where media gets to go hands-on with a number of games and speak with developers behind-closed-doors – will also be returning, courtesy of iam8bit.
This year’s Summer Game Fest has supposedly been a “record-setting” one, as per the event’s official Twitter page, though data on viewership has yet to be revealed.
