Gun Interactive is unlocking everything on their soon to be delisted game Friday The 13th The Game.

For those who didn’t even know this existed, Friday The 13th The Game is an asymmetrical multiplayer game, in the same vein as Dead by Daylight, but with a lot of extra special features unique to its license.

You can forget all about the 1989 NES game from LJN (which was surprisingly developed by Atlus). This is the ultimate Friday The 13th game that will ever exist, with the direct collaboration with series co-creator Sean S Cunningham, and the participation of multiple actors from previous films, as well as special effects wizard Tom Savini.

When you play Jason Voorhees, you are granted special powers that only become possible because you are the lead villain in a slasher movie, such as teleporting to different locations and sensing when counselors are nearby.

If you don’t play Jason, you can play one of the many counselors who have fallen victim to him through the years. If you unlock certain conditions, you can even make Tommy Jarvis, portrayed by Corey Feldman, playable, and that also makes it possible for the counselors to kill Jason, though in most playthroughs players will have to settle with surviving the time limit.

This was obviously a very special game, but because of the provisions on the license, the online multiplayer game will be delisted on December 31, 2023.
