Geoff Keighley's annual gaming event Summer Game Fest is set to kick off very soon, and it looks like it'll be a long one. Going live on 8th June, we now know how long to expect the big showcase to last.
As is nearly always the case, Keighley's presentation is set to be pretty lengthy. According to the official website's schedule, Summer Game Fest starts at 3pm EDT / 12pm PDT, and Day of the Devs — which follows immediately after — begins at 5pm EDT / 2pm PDT. In other words, the main show will be roughly two hours long.
This is par for the course with events like this, but we wouldn't expect Keighley to pack those two hours with trailers. As he's already said, there will be a handful of big, important announcements, but part of the running order will be brief interviews with developers and other stopgaps between the trailers and videos to let some of the news sink in.
Of course, we'll be hosting the live feed as always right here on Push Square, so get some snacks in for next week and join us, won't you? Are you excited for Summer Game Fest? Tell us in the comments section below.

So that’s a 45 minute show and 1 hour and 15 minutes of ads. Got it.
I hope that one day we will be able to watch live events at 2x speed
@Stormageddon Why complain? He doesn’t have to do this. I think the events can be fun. It’s nice to see a live audience and more game reveals. Nobody is forcing you to watch it anyway
Can't wait, hoping for one or two big reveals here
I hope people go easy on
