Microsoft has revealed the titles they’ll be adding to Xbox Game Pass on PC and consoles in early June, and horror fans ought to be excited. The headliner is Amnesia: The Bunker, a more open take on the horror series set during World War I. Other additions include the 80s-tastic grifting game The Big Con, the chill new release indie Dordogne, and more.
Here are your headliner Game Pass titles for the next couple of weeks:
The Big Con (Cloud, Console, and PC) – June 1
“Ever had the urge to survive on your wits and moxie as a good old-fashioned con artist? Well, The Big Con will let you get your scheming out of your system without any of those nasty real-world consequences! Developed by Canadian indie studio Mighty Yell and published by Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman’s Skybound Games, The Big Con features all the pickpocketing, stealing, and scheming you could want, along with a pretty tubular 90s art style.”
Amnesia: The Bunker (Cloud, Console, and PC) – June 6
“Past Amnesia games have been fairly straightforward in terms of gameplay, focusing on tension and scares rather than super complex mechanics. Amnesia: The Bunker changes things up somewhat, introducing more survival elements and open-ended gameplay, as you face various terrors in a WWI bunker. Whether Amnesia: The Bunker is as popular with shrieking streamers as past entries in the series remains to be seen, but it looks like a solid experiment.”
These games will also be available in early June:
