Bethesda announced three editions of Starfield on Sunday and pre-orders for all of them are now live.
While the £70 / $70 standard edition and £100 / $100 Premium Edition are in plentiful supply, the £250 / $300 Constellation Edition looks set to be harder to acquire.
In the UK, where it’s available exclusively at Game, the Constellation Edition is currently available to pre-order for both Xbox Series X/S and PC.
In the US, the Constellation Edition is already sold out at many retailers including Amazon, Walmart and Best Buy, but there’s currently limited availability elsewhere.
The Bethesda Gear store has the Xbox Series X/S version in stock, while GameStop Pro members can pre-order the PC version.
The standard version of Starfield, which includes the base game, will also be available via Xbox Game Pass.
The Premium Edition and the Constellation Edition come with the game’s first story expansion, Shattered Space, plus up to five days of early access ahead of Starfield’s September 6 release.
Both editions also include the Constellation Skin Pack, and soundtrack and art book as digital extras.
Additionally, the Constellation Edition, which comes with a digital copy of the game rather than a physical one, includes a steelbook display case, the Starfield Chronomark Watch and case, and a Constellation patch.
Players who pre-order any edition of the game will receive access to the Old Mars Skin Pack, which includes the Deep Mining Helmet & Pack and the Laser Cutter.
Xbox Game Studios head Matt Booty has claimed Starfield will have the fewest bugs of any Bethesda game yet.
