Palia is holding a new series of tech tests over the coming weeks. The team at Singularity 6 will be inviting all previous play testers, as well as sending out new invites to the tech tests.
What the team is looking to do is test the services and seeing how everything stands up with a larger group of players. This is one of the reasons why they are inviting every single tester who has ever tested the game to come back and help them with this big test. the game continues in alpha, and the cozy MMO is still taking applications for play tests on its website.
The first of these new technical tests will happen for one day on May 25th, with additional tests to follow. So if you participated in Alpha one, Alpha 2, or the special weekend playtest, you have a spot in these new series of short tests.
They haven't announced just how many rounds of these short tech tests there will be, but with previously released stats, Palia has had over 20,000 testers so far, with many more applications. Since there are more than 20,000 people eligible to return, along with a new cohort of invited testers, they are clearly trying to test their systems and make sure everything is good and stable before they move to the next phase of development.
With plans for a series of these tech tests, they haven’t released the number that will be invited to the first round on May 25th, but with over 20,000 eligible and new people going to get invites, expect at least several. Since they’re planning to invite a mix, you can give it a shot if you're interested in seeing more of how Palia is coming along. And, of course, to help stress those servers and make sure to help the devs squash any lag.
