Sand Land has revealed a release date of April 26, information on editions, pre-order bonus, and a new gameplay trailer. Fans remember Akira Toriyama as the creator of the massive hit Dragon Ball, but this time a different work is getting a game adaptation.
Sand Land adapts the manga released by Toriyama in 2000 in Shonen Jump magazine. In the action RPG, players will join the Demon Prince Beelzebub, his chaperone, Thief, and Sheriff Rao as they take on the Royal Army. Together, the trio will cross the desert searching for the Legendary Spring to end a terrible drought that has taken over the world. Sand Land's announcement at 2023's Summer Game Fest was one of the biggest surprises. And to get fans even more excited about the game, Bandai Namco has given new details.
It has been revealed that Sand Land arrives on April 26 on PC and consoles. Bandai Namco has announced that the game will have three editions, with the Standard Edition coming with the base game. The Deluxe Edition includes the game, the additional Army Base and Hideout furniture packs, and the Speed Demon Pack. For players who want the full experience of the Sand Land game adaptation, the Collector's Edition comes with the base game, all the Deluxe Edition extras, the Beelzebub Decal Set, Postcards Set, and Steelbook. This edition also includes a customizable Beelzebub figurine that comes with a stand. Players who pre-order any Sand Land version will get the Survivalist Camo Pack, with three different colors to customize the vehicles. Sand Land's Standard Edition will sell for $59.99 for PCs and consoles, the Deluxe Edition for $69.99 for all platforms, and the Collector's Edition will be available for consoles for $129.99.
