It's official: the suit from The Batman is coming to Batman: Arkham Knight. This comes after some players were able to use the suit early, leaking its existence in the game last month.
The suit was just shown off in action in the launch trailer for Batman: Arkham Trilogy, the compilation title coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch. However, as suggested by the fact that non-Switch users have been able to use the suit too, it's been confirmed that it will also be added to other platforms, although we don't have a release date for this yet.
The details of the suit being added to the game are revealed at the end of the launch trailer. Here, it's said that The Batman suit will be available for free in the Arkham Trilogy collection and that it will initially be exclusive to Nintendo Switch.
Batman: Arkham Trilogy is coming to Nintendo Switch on December 1, and it seems like the suit will launch alongside it. There's no word on it coming to any of the other games in the trilogy, so right now, it seems it will only be accessible in Arkham Knight. The wording also suggests that it will be added to the rest of the platforms Arkham Knight is playable on further down the line, although we're yet to be told when this will be.
Batman: Arkham Knight initially launched in 2015, so few fans expected to see a cosmetic added after all this time. Much less a cosmetic from a film that wasn't even in production when the game first launched. Ahead of its inclusion in the Arkham Trilogy, Arkham Knight is only available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
