Date Everything, a dating sim in which you can forge relationships with personifications of everyday objects, has been delayed.
Initially planned for release this month, developer Sassy Chap Games and publisher Team 17 have announced a new, and very apt, target of Valentine's Day — 14th February, 2025.
The news comes via a new trailer (above), in which the game's lead designer, Ray Chase, makes the announcement. He also provides an overview of what this unusual title offers, and it looks like it could be pretty amusing.
While you can explore a three-dimensional house in first person, most of the game is about conversing with personified objects and concepts. Yes, you can form a bond with a bin, romance a rubber duck, and swoon over a sink.
It's obviously very silly, but as pointed out in the video, the studio is aiming to deliver more than comedy with Date Everything's story. Hopefully it can pull that off — we'll have to wait until February to find out.

I bet this will sell more than AC Shadows
@Savage_Joe Shadows will probably do quite well but sadly this game will really be swallowed up by Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and Monster hunter wilds and Avowed will be available at no extra cost on game pass.
