Yes, there are countless Far Cry comparisons.

Almost a year after The Way of Water premiered, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora brings audiences back to the strange alien world created by James Cameron--but this time in a video game. Ubisoft and developer Massive are behind the open-world title, meaning the similarities to Far Cry are there and mentioned by reviewers.
On GameSpot sister site Metacritic, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has a metascore of 74, fitting in the mixed or average range. That's taking into account 52 reviews at the time of publication.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora launches this Thursday, December 7, on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
