Tower of Fantasy Introduces More Sophisticated, Hopeful Magical Girl Simulacrum, Brevey
The new year, means a new simulacrum for Tower of Fantasy. Previously revealed in December, there’s a new story trailer introducing the next addition, engineer Brevey and her weapon, Pactcrest Metz.
The intro to the trailer talks of the current simulacrum system not being sophisticated enoughto handle more complex situations, and set against a presentation of “new technology directions”. This moves into a fun, full-on magical girl transformation sequence that also gets a tongue-in-cheek response.
Her official intro lets you know a little something about the spirit of this latest addition to the roster: “Brevey was handpicked for the critical task of aiding Domain 9 and powering up the Tower of Fantasy's core. It marks her first time venturing beyond the walls of Hykros's headquarters, descending from the sky to the ground.
Even though, she still dismisses science, claiming it as something easily defeated by love and hope. To her, only miracles and magic are the most powerful.”
Brevey will arrive on January 9th, bringing something new and fun for those who felt that what was missing from Tower of Fantasy was a reliable magical girl. She and her weapon, Pactcrast Metz get their stylish intro in the new trailer, complete with a dash of knowing humor, with the needed showcase of the action on top. This is the Magical Contract system. We’ll see just how everything plays out with the new turn of more advanced simulacra with next week's major update.
Brevey’s splash art also features her and the weapon Pactcrest Metz, a new SSR support weapon with a volt and frost elemental type. We’ll get more info on her before she arrives in the game next week to start off the new year in Tower of Fantasy.
