Tower of Fantasy Goes 'Beyond Horizons' in its Next Major Update, With New Map, and a Main Story Chapter
mmorpg.comTower of Fantasy is heading to new terrain in the next major update, “Beyond Horizons”, launching v 3.6 on January 30th. There’s an all-new map, Aquaville, a new main story, “Impending Storm”, new quests, and a looming battle with the Hive Mother. A new world may just be on the horizon after all.
Aquaville is new and also in a state of both ruin and restoration. The beginning of humanity and pre-timestamp technologyin Domain 9 are secrets that Aquaville reveals. The map is described as a huge cylindrical vessel, and work is underway to help restore it after it was ruined at Inception. Some of the technologies that are being restored include the Distant Beacon Cabin and the Gravity Rail. Within the space of the map, there are a number of structures and systems that let the city operate. Repairs and reconstruction continue at a good pace, so some of these pathways now show a return of gravitational function.
This is where you come in, as there are a lot of secrets buried in these ruins and zones within Aquaville. Investigating will lead you closer and provide more clues to how to combat the looming Darkness crisis.
In “Impending Storm” there is a storm on the way, and this one could change the world forever. Also, a battle with the Hive Mother is coming, so prepare for that task as well.
The update will also add two new bosses to defeat. Train up your skills via practice alongside combat droid Ying Zhao or play with Fei Lan, described as a creature native to Domain 9.
