In Skull and Bones, although the Open Beta only lasted a few days, it was just enough time for some players to achieve some pretty awesome feats. Like EagleEGamer, who became a millionaire.
Getting Silver in Skull and Bones isn’t exactly difficult, and with some focused gaming, one could amass some dozens of thousands quite neatly in a solid session. However, that is a far cry from a million (1,000,000 silver, in case you’d forgotten how big that is).
As you can see above, the counter only goes to 999,999, as I’m assuming Ubisoft did not predict this number would be reached so soon. Thankfully, the “+” sign at the end tells us that any future silver gained will be counted, just not displayed. So who knows what the upper ceiling is?
All EagleEGamer has to do now is enjoy his spoils and buy the finest items silver can.
Naturally, many players asked EagleEGamer how he hit a million silver in Skull and Bones within three days. In the comments, you’ll see numerous times that this player simply used the trade routes to buy low and sell high. Hilariously, it wasn’t exactly true piracy that filled the coffers, but trading.
By having a look at what was in demand, EagleEGamer plundered and attacked ships that were transporting those goods in other supply lines to sell high at settlements that wanted them. Selling such highly profitable goods over and over again will net you with a pretty neat prize. I just never thought it would make you a millionaire.
You can tell what’s in demand at a settlement by hovering your cursor over it. Then, you’ll either need to craft or gather those items yourself to sell, or, you can simply take it from other ships. By looking at the trading routes (the dotted lines) that connect the settlements, you can see what resource is being ferried.
If you are to prowl the supply line that’s carrying the good you want, you can hunt down any supply ships. You can use your Spyglass to spot them, although they should be rather distinct. Make sure to board
