At yesterday’s Xbox Partner Preview, in addition to showcasing new gameplay for The Alters, 11 bit studios also revealed a new trailer for Frostpunk and confirmed a July launch date for the highly anticipated city building survival sequel’s PC version.
In addition to that, the developer has also revealed the game’s Digital Deluxe Edition, which will come with quite a few bonuses. Chief among them are three paid post-launch expansions, while you can also start playing the story made 72 hours ahead of the game’s global release.
Also included is access to a seven-day beta for the game’s Sandbox mode that’s set for April, as well as a digital artbook, the soundtrack, and the digital novella Warm Flesh, which will provide “an enticing excerpt from the upcoming Frostpunk book anthology”.
Frostpunk 2 launches for PC on July 25. PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions are also planned, but don’t yet have release dates.
