Skill Fruits, found on peculiar trees scattered throughout the Palpagos Islands in , offer powerful skills you can teach your Pals. These fruits are not limited by their elemental type, meaning a fire Pal can learn a water skill and vice versa, allowing for diverse customization. While Pals naturally acquire Active Skills, these inherent abilities often fail to create the most effective Pal build.
To use Skill Fruits on your Pals, ensure the desired fruit is in your inventory. Interact with the fruit to access your party menu, which prompts you to choose which Pal to teach the skill. After selecting and confirming your choice, your Pal will learn the new skill acquired from the fruit, thereby consuming it. Depending on Pal's level and existing skill set, especially with an early-game Pal, you might need to manage and swap skills to accommodate the new addition.
Pals can only have three Active Skills equipped at once. If you attempt to use a Skill Fruit on a Pal that already knows three Active Skills, you must pick one to be replaced.
Across the Palpagos Islands in, adventurers can discover17 Skill Fruit Trees, withat least one appearing in each significant biome. Various trees are scattered across the mainland, and more are nestled in challenging environments at the far corners of the map, requiring further exploration. Each Skill Fruit Tree bears three random fruits of varying rarities. Trees located in areas designated for higher-level stronger Pals are more inclined to yield fruits of superior rarity.
