The highly-anticipated Stardew Valley Update 1.6 has released, resulting in the game achieving an all-time high player count of over 140,000 concurrent users on Steam. Patch notes for Stardew Valley Update 1.6 include a slew of new content, bug fixes, and more, and both new and returning fans have booted up in droves to enjoy the massive patch.

Since its release back in 2016, Stardew Valley has established itself as one of the most popular and successful life-sim games of all time. Players frequently praise the game's cute aesthetic, diverse gameplay, and lovable characters, and the new additions in Update 1.6 have helped push Stardew Valley to an incredible achievement.

According to live data on SteamDB, Stardew Valley has surpassed its all-time player count after reaching over 140,000 concurrent users. This milestone comes with the release of Update 1.6, the largest patch to date for Stardew Valley. Players were excitedly counting down the final hours to the launch, with many waiting for creator Eric «ConcernedApe» to awaken and set the big update live. Excitement reached a fever pitch as ConcernedApe dropped teasers for Stardew Valley Update 1.6 repeatedly leading up to its release, and fans are now diving in to experience the game with its new content. However, Update 1.6 is currently only available on PC. A massive list of patch notes was revealed by ConcernedApe, detailing every small fix and big addition in Update 1.6. Among the more exciting changes are the addition of more seasonal in-game festivals, drinkable mayonnaise and jelly, improvements to artisanal goods, adjustments to melee and harvesting movements, and a new farm type in Stardew Valley.
