After weeks of anticipation, the Xiaomi 14 series has been launched in India today, March 5. The Chinese tech giant is bringing two smartphones to India - Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Xiaomi 14, as part of its flagship smartphone lineup. Prior to launch, Xiaomi was expected to launch just the base smartphone in India but the company has sprung a positive surprise by bringing its flagship model to the Indian market as well. Xiaomi 14 Ultra - The top-end smartphone, Xiaomi 14 Ultra, features a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. The panel supports 3000 nits of peak brightness as well as HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. Under the hood, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra gets the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The company is introducing a single variant in India which gets 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.

There's a quad camera setup at the back with a 50MP primary camera, 50MP telephoto camera, 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. On the front, you get a 32MP selfie shooter. All this is backed by a 5000mAh battery which supports 90W fast charging (wired) and 50W fast charging (wireless).

Xiaomi 14 - The Xiaomi 14 sports a 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, resolution of 1200 x 2670 pixels and 3000 nits of peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by the same processor as the flagship Xiaomi 14 Ultra but gets 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. Both smartphones run on Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14. The Xiaomi 14 gets a 4610mAh battery with 90W fast charging (wired) and 50W fast charging (wireless).

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is priced at Rs. 99999 for the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 14 costs Rs. 69999 for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant.
