The price of Hero of the Kingdom II, the Point & Click Casual Adventure RPG, has dropped. Initially priced at $7.49, the game is now up for grabs at absolutely zero! Developed by Lonely Troops, it’s a sequel to Hero of the Kingdom. If you don’t know much about the game yet, let me give you a quick lowdown on it!
Hero of the Kingdom II combines resource management and hidden object hunting. Set against the familiar backdrop of its predecessor, it introduces a new storyline filled with a more vibrant, diverse world.
The young hero’s journey kicks off with a real sob story. An earthquake takes his parents, leaving him and his sister in the care of a kind fisherman. But just as they’re settling into their new quiet life, pirates swoop in and kidnap his (your) sister. You’re in for a classic rescue mission as you dive into a bunch of tasks and take on pirates to save the sister.
Your hero might not be the handiest of all, often breaking his tools at the least opportune moments. But I feel that’s just part of the game’s quirky appeal! Unlike the prequel, you get a bigger menu of skills, collectibles and even more side quests. Expect some serious backtracking to gather a quirky list of items to overcome obstacles.
Hero of the Kingdom II was released in February 2015 for PC and Android. It’s the second game in the Hero of the Kingdom series. Apart from the first two games, the series includes three other titles Hero of the Kingdom III, Hero of the Kingdom: The Lost Tales 1 and Hero of the Kingdom: The Lost Tales 2.
