A Drake’s Big Basket of Eggs, a World of Warcraft toy added to Noblegarden last year, now works with Dracthyr, allowing the characters to carry the basket in their mouths just like their Dragonriding mounts. This hilarious and adorable interaction was made possible thanks to changes to the Dracthyr Soar racial ability in a previous World of Warcraft patch.
Last year, World of Warcraft added a new Dragonriding toy to the vendors for Noblegarden, the in-game event counterpart to Easter. The toy, called A Drake’s Big Basket of Eggs, equips one’s Dragonriding drake with a festive basket full of painted eggs for a short while when used. It can be used all year, but it has a reduced cooldown during Noblegarden.
However, some players have discovered a new interaction with this toy that wasn’t there last year. In patch 10.2.5, World of Warcraft buffed the Dracthyr Soar racial ability to count as full-fledged dynamic flying, enabling the draconic characters to forgo mounts entirely. Plenty of players have picked up this Dragonriding toy, but this new interactivity has made it a must-get for many Dracthyr fans. If it was an accident, hopefully, World of Warcraft will keep it so these players can continue to be delighted.
Noblegarden itself received a small facelift this year, with a handful of new quests, rewards, and activities to complete. Many of these new features revolve around ducks, which were finally introduced to World of Warcraft in Dragonflight.
